We specialize in making world-class documentaries for international broadcasters like the BBC, PBS, National Geographic and Discovery. All our documentaries have a strong Chinese theme and cover genres such as history, science, culture and society. We also work with international brands like Intel, Starbucks, Google and Mercedes to create viral video and online content. We are a small but established and growing company and are always looking for new talent to join our dynamic, international team.

    Job description

    Your daily duties and responsibilities shall consist of, but not limited to the following:

    1. Work on graphics, assist the team with web-design;
    2. Research and development of new projects – writing and proofreading;
    3. Going out to recce/location scout/research;
    4. Helping with casting or procurement of props;
    5. Administrative functions such as helping with releases, accounting and filing;
    6. Helping with social media: database and newsletter mail-outs, blogs and website;
    7. Proofreading of subtitles - helping with some editing tasks, if have the skillset;
    8. Going out on shoots as a runner.


    1. University level education in Design, Media or Journalism, experience in media is a big plus;
    2. Excellent English, knowledge of Chinese a plus;
    3. Motivated, enthusiastic and willing to work as a junior member of a team;
    4. Must be interested in Chinese culture, curious and open-minded;
    5. Able to adapt and work in new environments/cultures;
    6. Tenacious and hard-working.
