    Job description

    Your daily duties and responsibilities shall consist of, but not limited to the following:


    1. Conduct quantitative research on hedge fund strategies;
    2. Learn about existing hedge fund strategies in the Chinese market and understand one or more strategies on a deep level;
    3. Build statistical models using MATLAB and/or Excel to analyze the strategies and develop new tools for the portfolio manager to use to analyze Chinese hedge funds;
    4. Attend due diligence trips on Chinese hedge funds and write due diligence memos;
    5. Assist in writing research reports about single strategies and/or the hedge fund industry;
    6. Assist in developing quantitative proprietary trading strategies on Chinese futures and equities markets.

    Requirements

    1. Major in finance, economics, mathematics;
    2. Graduate students are preferred, top undergraduates are also welcome;
    3. Excellent oral and written English and Chinese;
    4. Highly analytical and have strong problem solving skills;
    5. Ability to think logically and methodically;
    6. Highly passionate about investments, very eager to learn and have a strong desire to work in the hedge fund industry;
    7. Experienced with MS Office (specifically MS Excel) and preferably statistical software such as MATLAB and R;
    8. Strong writing skills.
    9. Clear design vision;
    10. Strong communication and coordination ability, strong team spirit and strong execution skills;
    11. Proficient in textiles face knowledge.
